First shots.... Sporterised a3/03

E. C. Bishop and later Reinhardt Fajen (a former Bishop employee) made lots and lots of stock during the 50's, 60s and beyond. The high roll over comb was all the fashion in the 60's. I have a Bishop 03/03A3 stock in a basket by my desk. It is a drop in fit for military action and barrel.

As mentioned in the video. There was two Mauser '98's sporterised as well both of these got Bishop stock.
The stock on the 1903 has a Pachmayer butt pad. Gramps was a big man but knew a long stock was a detriment during very cold hunts. So the LOP is short 12.5". I mention it as both companies had but plates with there logos embossed.

Looks like a "1" or a "7" & "2". But whats under the site is obviously obscured. Im thinking maybe 7.62??
I shot only 2400 powder and only tge RCBS 180 FP bullets. Powder charges 15.5-17.5g THEY ALL SHOT GOOD!!!!

As I was waiting for target change. I shot this carefully. This is by far the best I have shot with a cast bullet.

Yeah, the range is a little busy and I can't safely control the camera, because I can't see what I'm filming if I film it normally. So I just filmed it with the front camera which of course flops everything.
