This looks to be a natural for a 414 SuperMag. Unfortunately, NEI is no more.

NEI’s Listing of Keith / Bench-Or-Woods-Marshall [K-BOWM] Bullets
408-416 (0.26”-0.30” meplat) .411-240-GC (#225)

Is there someone that makes this in iron?

UPDATE: “K-BOWM” bullets results in very few hits.

Bullet design #41-240N added to the catalog.

.391 GC shank, looks ready for Hornady or BSS .416 GCs. Those blasted Lyman shanks on the 410610 and the shank on the SAECO 415 are fiddly.

Folks, I want to use this in either the .41 Rem Mag [6" revolver or 23" Contender] or a .414 SuperMag [16" Contender]. Enough lube capacity?

way plenty, that's the same amount the 429241 has in the rounded lube groove version.
you really don't need even that much lube.

Good evening
We shoot .411 and .412 240 grain's and 265s in 41 ag and 414 SM revolvers and rifles and lube has never been an issue.
Have used the same cast in a 405 JES (.411 groove) and again plenty of lube at 2100+ FPS.

I should add since we started with PC in the tub near all our over 1750 fps shooting or high pressure loads get PC'd.

I was bidding on a 410426 [just to say I did], and it went for $46 [IIRC]. Not bothered in the least.

The 410426 is a 240 gr RN, PB. Almost always seen as a single cavity [I have seen one dual cavity on Flea-Buy]. Some folks love them there single cavities [bullets cast will be from same cavity], but I much prefer dual cavities. The #41-240N / .411-240-GC has got an honest-to-God meplat, better support for the nose, AND will be a dual cavity. Plus a GC, again, some folks aren't partial, but this is 'Murica.

If I am reading the drawing correctly, it is .74" long with a meplat of .29".

I have and do use 200+ grain cast bullets in the 30-30 cartridges. A few years back, the Cast Bullet Association who's news letter "The Fouling Shot" had a series of writings from a dedicated shooter, name of, Frank Marshal. He was an excellent writer and had been shooting for many years. He wrote of using the Lyman 311284 bullets which are a 220 grain with great effect on targets and game. An outfit called "Old West Bullet Moulds" made up a great bullet mould for him. It weighs in around 200 Grains, flat nosed. He called it BOWM bullet. The name stood for Bench Or Woods Marshall. He claimed to use H-4841, filling the case over a Large Rifle primer. Velocity was around 1800 to 1900 FPS. The 311284 bullet has a pointy nose, which he flattened for this purpose. It pentatrated deeply. One reason it was done to to duplicate the old .303 Savage 190grain bullets which were known for good deep pentatration. His claims were valid. The base of the bullet will protrude below the neck of a 30-30, but the 4831 acted as a filler and a buffer, when fired the powder was slow enough to get the bullet moving and protect the bases of the bullets. Works great for me. I should cast some more, its been a few years. Never had leading problems and it does make a great cartridge for close to moderate range. Good Luck.....

I've shot Lee C309-200 in 30/30 leverguns to 1600-1700 FPS with decent accuracy from their 1-12" twists. One at a time only, if the bore-rider portion is a snug slip-fit they will shoot point-forward IME. I was trying out that 303 Savage concept (190 grain bullets) just for grins.
