I still can't get the links to work. :(

I have used that site off & on for a while now & still have some things I want to review there.

Hope it comes back soon for me.

BTW, Here is a copy/paste of what I get when I try the link posted above by Reloader762couple/few days ago:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.lasc.us. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

It works in both the newest version of Google Chrome and Firefox for me, just check the link a few minutes ago.

The ERR_CONNECTION_RESET issue is not something I can explain how to fix here but you can take a look at the link to see if it helps you https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/pr...RESET_ERROR Is,error only displays in Firefox.

Also, the link I posted back at thread #19 is a web capture of the site that is updated occasionally and is fully functional like the original site, here is the newest web capture as of Jan. 14 2023 https://web.archive.org/web/20230114141654/http://www.lasc.us/CastBulletNotes.htm see if this works as an alternative till you can figure out the issue.

System I'm running, old Dell Optiplex 9020 one of three free computers I got from a local business that upgraded their systems. Maxed out the internal ram at 16 GB and put in a larger 1 TB SATA HDD drive that I had lying around. Running KDE Plasma version 5.24.7, Linux Kernel 5.15.0-60-generic 64 Bit.

Thanks for the "web.archive" link, as that will work for me for now.
Hope I can eventually use the other one that I had bookmarked. I am using an updated Firefox, but it does not allow me to access an "Unsecured Connection". I looked for ways to circumvent the lockout, but to no avail.
But the substitution link you provided seems to allow me to access the info , so it should be just fine for now.
Perhaps I should try to buy the book sometime soon to have a hard copy & extra funds become available. ;-)

Thanks again~!

:headscratch: The book has never been published in paper book form. It is published exclusively on www.lasc.us
People that have a printed copy printed it off the web site so they would have a personal printed copy. The book is copyright protected and printing and selling it is a big no no. Printing out a copy for your own use is fine.

Thanks for letting me know. I was not aware it could not be purchased on its' own. I had thought that I had seen it offered & that it was available in print, but apparently I was mistaken. Must have been something else, I reckon.
I do have a downloaded copy now as a .PDF, IIRC, but no printer. I will have to see about getting a copy printed out then.
Thanks again for the info.

I have read the book in it's entirety at least twice, as well as many other articles from the lasc website.
But I have one big question: How do you pronounce Fryxell?
