Gas checks stuck in case necks

I use a pin drill and make a small hole in the middle, most will pull out with just slight pressure on the bit when removing it from the hole.

Hate to say this ....since I do not know how hot the loads are But I have just reseated the bullet down to about on top of them and fired them when the load was low

I didn't think the loads were that hot. I was just trying to fire form the brass. But I was getting flat primers and severely scratched base of cases, so I stopped and pulled all the bullets. This was not a load I usually use but one that I had extrapolated and thought was safe for fireforming.
Better to be safe than sorry.

You could just flip them sideways by pressing one end in the case and pull them out with a hooked wire....I have done that also

Small diameter gas checks coming off and falling into the case really vexes me. Sometime I can catch the loose gas check in the case neck by using an inertia puller. Then I can reach it with long nosed pliers.
