These have been helpful for me when bedding a Remington or Savage action. My go to release agent has been old cans of shoe polish, one coat rubbed on the action is all you need. These screws allow a little better feel when installing and you can adjust while the bedding cures. The constant pursuit of accuracy is why we tinker.

Yes, T Screws are very nice to have when fitting a new stock to a barreled action or glass bedding one. Unfortunately, I didn't have a set for my T/C rifle. You make an excellent point.
