H&G mould #258 41 caliber bullets

I would like to try and have a Group Buy of this mould on the NOE forum. The biggest hurdle is I don't have this mould. When doing my semi regular search for this mould I came upon a forum thread here where two members have this mould. One member a 10 cavity and the other a 4 cavity (two #328 and two #258). So my question is, is there any way that I could beg, borrow, steal or even buy three or four unsized bullets from this mould so Swede Nelson could measure and possibly do a production run? This would be the third time I've tried to get this mould on a group buy and I'm hoping its a charm. The first two tries things fell thru. Thanks for looking

First thanks for the heads up. Like a fair number of 41 shooters I've been looking for this mould for more than a little while. I dont want to reinvent this bullet but I really would like a clone of the original. On the NOE website three years ago I began a push for a group buy. This didn't work out and has an unfinished feel about it. Thought I would give it another try. Thanks Again David

David, I have the ten cavity mold that was used for a group buy from Miha when I was over on CB. Here is the resulting drawing. Note I did not make the drawing but I did buy a four cavity brass mold from Miha that was made to these specs and the bullets look identical to the 258s.

Maybe this will save you some work.

David, I have the 4 cavity H&G mold. 2 cavities are #258 and 2 cavities are 503S. I have some of the #258 cast up and can send your four if you PM me your mailing address.

KeithB thanks for the attachment. An odd thing I've noticed is it seems to be okay to use a mould to cast a bullet and then make a duplicate mould. But it is not alright to use someone else's drawings. I don't know if it is a copyright thing or what but most mould drawing have a "property of" listed. I don't know if G. Latka would approve or not. I'll have to ask and see if I can find an answer to this. Eutectic as soon as I get done here I'll get off a PM to you. It may just be easier to cut out the middle man and just send them to NOE at 1030 S 350E Provo Ut 84606. Either way I'll also PM Swede Nelson and let him know there on the way. Thank you for this most generous offer. David
