+1 for the positive attributes of a bevel base, thank you for pointing that out. They still fin on both sides of the band at the engraves, but don't cup. When powder-coating an existing design which already casts full-diameter, the BB or GC designs tolerate being sized down .004" or more (often in one step before coating and one afterwards) without trailing off a bunch of metal or having to push them through a Lee-style sizing die base-first. The BB and GC also shoot far better for me than PB designs when using the coating.
