Heavy Weight 38-40 Bullets

My Colt New Service will not shoot any light (170 -180) grain bullets to POA no matter what the load. Hoping to try some heavy weights to see if that will get it shooting where it looks.

If you cast some that heavy for the 38-40 please send me a PM!

I am trying some very soft 205/210 .411 bullets sized to .401. They are shooting much nearer to POA but still low.

Am really needing something in the 225 or so range I'm thinking to get them to match sights

You may not find a lot heavier than 200 grs.

Accurate has a 220 designed for 10mm revolver. For .38-40 you need to move the crimp groove farther out the nose so loaded round will clear the front of cylinder.
