Only problem I could see with a Henry in 41 magnum is I would have to follow that buy up with a revolver in 41 mag

Congratulations! I bet that will have a cult like following quickly.

I'm aching for a 454 casull lever or pump offered by a quality manufacturer.

Well, I would say that isn't likely... but if you would have asked me yesterday about a 41 mag from them...

Send in emails, they may listen to the customers with enough input.

I have been trying to track one of these down for a month now.
they haven't hit the distributors just yet.

ohh if anybody get's over to the henry site their 223/243/308 lever gun that looks similar to the browning lever gun is worth looking at too.

Lipsley's don't have any yet, I have one on order at the local shop, but Bob said he will keep the one on order if I find one online. Somehow he thinks they will sell quick.

What??? Wait ....223 lever?

Hadn't thought much about that but, it sounds really fun for some reason. Maybe it's the 100+ range brass I find every time I go. Hmm....

so far I have only heard about it being a limited run.
I know the way it's presented on the website makes it look like a permanent part of their line-up [but that's the word I got]
maybe a bunch of E-mails and such could make it permanent.
i'd like to get my hands on one before finding out though.

There are two for sale right now on gunbroker. But right now the price of these pre-production models is about $200 more than certain bottom price sellers are selling the same rifle but in 44 mag or 357 mag. Looks like about March - April the real production gets full swing and prices should come in line with the regular steel frame rifle prices.
But then if you want to get one sooner they are available.

keeping tabs on all of this, I want one pretty badly.
I even have a new mold design in mind but i think Tom has one cut already.

It would be nice if they kept this as a standard offering, there are zero 41 mag leverguns available and zero competition from anyone if they keep it.

Either way, I will have a Henry steel frame, I wonder what the throat/chamber will look like?

Throat / chamber.... anyone want to comment on the 357's or 44 mag Henry Steel frame rifles out there. That should tell us some reality.
If Henry would use minimum standard diameters throats could be easily "helped" by a reamer if needed. But history says manufactures start with fat reamers knowing they will wear little by little so later rifles should have smaller diameter chamber / throats.
But again that is why we cast our own. The capability of tailor making a bullet to fit the rifle always equals better accuracy.
I am saving my Peruvian Soles to snag one about 6 weeks after the main production hits the open market.

that does seem to be true of many.
one I have noticed that is the opposite is Ruger it seems they start out super tight in their QC/testing department and then slack off just a bit as things get rolling along.
Human nature I guess.

you know I haven't heard of any extremes or abnormalities in the henry rifles, so stuff like 430 and 358 must work in them without any drama.
I haven't heard anything about oversized chambers and such either, that is what drew my attention to them in the first place.
