Mine. Serial is 95231. Makes it a 1918 gun. But, notice the Brazilian Crest. It is a 1946 Brazilian Contract gun (there were two Brazil Contracts - 1937 and 1946). They SHOULD have 6 digit serial #s. But, for the '46 contract, Smith found some old leftover 1918 guns and parts, and filled part of the '46 contract with those leftover 1918s. Mine is also import marked by Century Arms. While it is pitted and ugly, it shoots lights out! Did replace the grips with original style and lanyard ring. This one also has the old huge cylinder mouths - .455

Mine came with the same style holster, the M4 pattern. Supposedly only two companies made them, Milwaukee Saddlery and Sears. Which one is yours?

The holster that this revolver came in had some markings on the inside.

An update. I contacted a local veterans group in the Sgt’s hometown. They remembered him. Unfortunately, he passed in January 2019. They provided me with the name and contact info for a good friend of his. We spoke the other day. Sgt Frederick was in the Army during the Korean War and stationed in Texas. He was in the Artillery Division. It was remembered he got the holster and revolver while in Texas. Since it was English marked, I doubt it was issued to him. But, the holster might have been issued. Or he could have bought it at that time.

Any, it appears the trail has gone cold, but I know more than I did before the phone call.
