Lots of Contender bench testing has taught me a handgun doesn't like the bottom of its butt fooled with during recoil. So I bag under the frame with my knuckles against the bags..... These takes the vertical out of your groups. I load test the single actions the same with the grip free to roll the same with recoil. Thick hands from years of use make the little finger not on the grip or better put I grip firm with two fingers and loose with the pinky. I see so many bag under the butt and frame for accuracy and sighting in...... Not this kid!
