I'm wearing them right now. But I confess to being confused about the purpose of wearing glasses, I always thought they were for seeing better but I now realize they are for making you dizzy.

I gave up on glasses and went to bifocal contacts. Last year for deer season I never had them fog once. I liked that.

IMG_0952.JPG Casted for the first time last weekend. I had the usual mistakes and of course a lot of scrap, but that Miha mold made some beauties too.

You cast those the first time casting? I need to stop advising new casters to not start with hollow points, those look great.

Believe me it was the Miha mold, not me.

Case in point, I started my pot at the highest setting and forgot about it. When I noticed the pot was at 900 degrees I turned it down to the lowest setting. Ten minutes later the tempature still didn't drop, so I unplugged it.Twenty-five minutes later I was wondering out why the pot wouldn't pour. I thought the pot was just clogged with debris, and so I started rooting around the stem with a long screwdriver. The whole time I was wondering why the lead felt so sludgy and why it kept sticking to the tool. Didn't figure that one out until I saw the thermometer at 600 degrees.
I got a lot to learn.

Sorry about the picture size in my last post, still learning the ropes there too.

It isnt the mould, that helps but you can get lousy bullets from any mould.
For a first time put those are really nice. You did your homework and it shows.
