I had completely forgotten about this thread! I had my suspicions that you might shoot there based on your lead mining posts. I don't dig in the berms but I do pick up under the plate rack where I am shooting. Usually get about 1/2 a 5 gallon bucket that way, which is more than I deposit!

Lots of cast bullets get shot there, i think in part, due to their cowboy action competitions. I can fill up the tote in my truck in an hour or so mining their berm. Comes out pretty good quality scraps. Its my only source of free lead in this area.
