OK I have been powder coating for a few years now and I feel very successful!
Right about the time I got interested in it My wife decided to swap out our round Rubbermaid containers for a brand new set of rectangular ones!
( These stack on each other!) So the old Round containers got relegated to the basement! Asking nicely,.... she said I can use any of them I want!
Now I was in charge of the move and putting the new Rubbermaid containers in the kitchen cabinet ....Noticing that they bore the proper # 5 Recycling symbol
Now I had a crap ton of old rubbermaid round containers for PC coating....which of course I stated using ! and have been for the past 3 years!
TODAY! I realized that the old round containers are marked # 2 recycling!....not #5!
I have been using these for 3 years now and I thought I was successful! Crap! I have been doing it all wrong!!!!

JW the new round zip-loc's have a screw on lid and there #5's. I bought some for powder coating and keep the bulk powder in the larges, and one of the smaller ones for each color. They work good, no spills.
You need to go check your stock of coated bullets, l bet the powder is sloughing off right now.

The red Folgers cans work for me. They are number 2 plastic. Here in the Pacific Northwest we average 40 percent humidity. I’m using the clear Eastwood powder.

If it's not a #5, you're wasting your time. Doesn't matter if you have a beautiful coat on the bullets. It's got to be a #5. It's what is written!

Love the heavy plastic stack on Rubbermaid containers. I switched to them sometime back and it made for a cleaner PCing station. Unfortunately I ended up using more colors which needed more containers taking up more space and I'm right back where I started. Such is life!

Apparently the #2s have been working for you for the last 3 years. Just don’t tell those bullets that they are defective and that they don’t fit in.
