You would have to cast six days a week to load on the seventh day. Probably a couple days, at least, just tumbling brass to feed it also! Neat machine.

Sweet machine, but it needs an automated Madter Caster and Star lubersizer to go along with it! And a whole team of monkeys to keep feeding components in.

Toyota still uses selectable shims in their OHC V-8 engines.

The bronze bushings are likely Oilite and virtually lubed forever. To relube them, remove and soak in acetone for a few days, dry eith a hair dryer or afternoon in the sun, and pressure-inject Mobil 1 synthetic oil back into them by filling the inside and squeezing between your thumbs until oil sweats out on the outer surface.

Picked this up at the same auction. This video is from last year. I’ve just upgraded it with a PID and Solid State Relay. The Bullet master was a mess as well! The first time I turned it on the wiring to the heating elements arched and boom! Fixed that then the drive motor burned up! Good times!

I also bought a Bullet master Bullet Collator and sizer. Same auction. That’s next on the list to get cleaned up and redone. The bad thing about the caster and collator is they are old Balisticast machines. They are out of business and I can find little info about them. The collator is set up to fill the tubes for the Camdex.

airc the older balllisticast machines will take Magma engineering molds and the arms and such for mounting them are pretty much the same.
one thing to consider is there were two ballisticast companies.
a few years after the first one closed down someone bought them out and attempted to make a go of it.
not a whole lot come out of the second attempt, but they did make good stuff for the short time they were around.

If ya get all that working in 9mm I may need to live in your place. Think I could keep it busy a few days at least. ;)
