I'd been looking, for some time, for a nice thick padded case for my scoped T/C Super 14, 30-30 Win. I wanted something that I could use to transport my Super 14 back and forth to the range with and the pistol not get beat up.

Never could find one that was the correct lenth and had the features I wanted. A few days ago, MidWay sent out a sales flyer.
Bingo , there it was.
I ordered it.
The case meets all my needs just fine.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
Looks good Ben. A little drift here, do you have interference opening the action with the Pach grip? Mine does, thinking of shaving the little tit behind the trigger guard.

No I don't , BUT if I did.........I'd do the same thing you're planning to do.

Love it when a plan comes together! My luck I find something I need on the sale flyer and check right away....only to find they're out of stock.

A 14" 'tender is a pain to find a case for. Somewhere around here I have a hard case that fits mine.

Someone used to make leather scabbards for them, I think it was Whyte Leather Works. Had straps for chest carry and looked good for an easy, quiet draw in the woods.

Not so much, try finding one for a 15" scoped XP. I always had to go the hard case route, they do or did make soft cases but they were rare.

If I had a scoped 15" XP I would make a box and line it with some foam. Not compact or pretty but gun is safe and secure.
