Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
I think I would try to trade them to a tire shop, maybe they would do a two for one deal.

Depends. I was taught "Zink" in general inorganic class and still have a hangup typing it the usual way.

I just separated the very last bucket I had of WW. What a mess at the bottom Of that bucket!! I have had that one years and never doug deeply but apparently it was allowed to get wet and everything 4" off the bottom is coated in red rust dust. BUT about 90% of ir was zink and stick on weights.

I found a bunch of grey painted 1"x1.25"x.125 "FE" labeled weights. Are these lead too? Odd that what ever that paint is its dureable as all get out as they look new even tho there where years in that rusty mess. (Assumed under water)

I've found FE to be steel. FE=Ferrous?

THANK YOU!!

Found with Google Fu;

"Wheel weights stamped FE
While checking out some wheel weights prior to smelting, I ran across two painted weights stamped "FE". Couldn't scratch them with my linemans pliers but they were attracted to my magnet. So in addition to looking for wheel weights stamped Zn (zinc) watch out for the ones stamped "FE". The one redeeming thing about the FE wheel weights is they have a much higher melting point than either the lead or zinc ones so they should be easily identifiable. Be suspicious of any painted wheel weight."

Makes sence...
