I like to pour mine also, it eliminates those pesky air pockets ya can get otherwise.

I like to as well.....and then I switched to soap lubes that melt at over 400°F. Back to cutting into strips or forming into doughnuts and tamping it in there with a stick, like a cave man.

I should be? It does eliminate those pesky air pockets. It would keep my hands cleaner.

I can tell you this. Don't add molten lube to a Star above the relief hole in the back then shove the piston back it. Great way to shoot lube all over the bench out that relief hole. Not an issue any more since I covered that hole and went to the air piston. Some of that lube is still around the back of the bench.

hehe . . . A little too full and hook up the air line and it will shoot lube not across the bench but clear across the room. Don't ask how I know that. :rolleyes: Messy way to smarten up and wrap it in a piece of rubber held in place with a hose clamp.

I am an NRA 50/50 lube fan and came into a lot of solid sticks of it cheap.
I melt an pour it into my RCBs lube/sizer....dale

Really well. When I need to refill a sizer a few minutes of heat and it's ready to go.

I do as well. The wife found a stainless syrup pitcher that works really well, it has a hinged lid also.
