Inverted German #1 scope reticle

Folks,

Anyone ever see an upside down German #1 reticle on a rifle scope?

I picked one up on an Ebay auction a few months back (Monoscope brand 2.5x by 40mm) that was advertised as a post reticle but when it arrived, when the scope is mounted with the elevation dial on top of the scope, the reticle is inverted. I'm attaching an image of what the reticle appears as when its mounted. I've currently have plans for it to go on my Win 94 in .32 Winchester Special since its an almost perfect brush gun scope.

The early US sniper scopes had this type of reticle. You zeroed on the point at 100 and you could hold over for longer ranges and not have to post obstruct the view.

I lile these too and have a couple. My 450 Ruger bolt just got a M8 3x Leupold with one.

Trijicon uses a lighted post reticle on their conventional rifle scopes......at least the two I have do. There're not inverted but I haven't noticed them interfering with target acquisition.
