I purchased this today.
Compared to your location, is this price for 8 lbs. of Promo
a good price ? That would be $18.12 per pound.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
Not positive but I think it's about right for my area. Use it like Red Dot. I was told you need to weigh instead of throwing charges with a measure.

I would pay that.
Have no idea what it is going for around here right now but that seems reasonable to me.
A whole lot of shooting in that jug. I just use Red Dot data by weight.

I am using up an 8 pounder I got years ago for 98 bucks.

Just checked Powder Valley (40 mile drive for me) and their Promo is $126.36 for 8 lb. Then you add sales tax and if you get it delivered, a Hazmat fee. So worse case ~ $160 delivered.

Is that a rhetorical question Ben? Most powders around here are running $30 and over per pound.
Gary, you need to mosey a few miles west to Winfield. You can order and request they hold for local pickup. Saves hazmat and shipping but adds tax. My daughter lives about 8 miles from pv so she picks up anything I order. Then Grandma gets to go see the kids

most pistol powders around here are about 165 out the door.
I have got promo and tite group a bit cheaper from time to time, but your not getting gouged at that price.

Based on powder prices that I've seen in the past 2 yrs., I felt it was a fair price.

More important Ben is the fact that when things get short again, and I’m sure they will, you will be shooting instead of complaining.

Like I said earlier, lots of shooting in that jug of powder. Even Trevor would have trouble burning that up in a year.
