I've heard a rumour about a 218 Bee

True that, Don. I had about 300 of the 25/20s on hand before the gun show score, so I think all will be well in 25/20.

Specific to my 1990s-vintage 1894CL levergun in 25/20, a lot of these are "chambered long", with the shoulders cut more deeply than SAAMI indicates in chamber diagrams. My brass did not hold up well at all until I started "partial full-length sizing" my fired brass to leave the blown-forward shoulder untouched. Much mo' bettah brass life, and lots less trimming.

That's a hell of a deal. The trouble with stuff like 218 or 25-20 is not only the price but you just can't find it. I also shoot the 348 Win. Try finding that!

25-20 Winchester and 218 BEE can still be a challenge to find, although Grafs has them from time to time. Starline now makes 348 Winchester cases and while not cheap, they're in stock & available right now.

This is good news on .348 as they've made the Winchester big 50's (similar head dimensions) for a while!

They also have a fine .32-20 case...... With all the .25-20 interest I can't understand what keeps Starline from continuing the 'draw' and offering the .25-20........ Not everyone is so fortunate as CZ93X62 for finding those few remaining hidden treasures!

Can't remember the last time I bought 25-20 cases, but did buy 250 Hornady 218 BEE cases about 6 to 8 months ago.

I'm thinking that when Starline is convinced that there is sufficient demand, 25-20 cases will join their list of offerings.
