that's similar to my 25-06 when using the speer 100gr controlled expansion.
I think that bullet would perform a lot better in the 257 Bob but god it's accurate and I don't need 2 shots.
I have a thought that some of the entrance wounding is the skin stretching inward then popping out and air sucking in the hole behind the bullet.
I don't see it with some bullets at some speeds and most always see it with others especially on stuff like deer.
shoot a yote with the same set-up and the damage is on the off side.
