I just traded for this one.
Will arrive in a few days.
Owner said that it cast at .311"
Reminds me a bit of the Lyman 31141.

Nice!
I've not owned an LBT but am intrigued by their sprue plate design. Would save me a little fancy dribbling as I try to run all my sprue puddles together. Helps fill out my bases and big sprues are easier to pick up with gloves.

I have a few 30 cal rifles that shoot the 31141 pretty well. This one may have found a good home.

I have several of his molds and wfn designs in Pistol calibers. They're all a dream to cast with and extremely accurate.

And I still have no excuse for not having that book. I need to correct that.

Ben, ANY mould would have found a good home at your place. Plenty of moulds of fine character to associate with there.

I don't think your gonna really find too much in common with the 041 other than they are both 30 caliber.

nope we'll wait for the targets.
actually I'm kind of jealous, that will be a fine target mold and do double duty in the field.

Ah, now we're getting somewhere.
You had me worried for a minute there............
Thought that maybe I'd bought an Edsel ?

Ben, I think they are referring to the 041 as the Edsel. You got a Cadillac.

Just be careful Ben, that bullet might just beg to go faster than you usually shoot them.
Crank that one to 2000 FPS, maybe even 2200, and you have a good deer killer. No HP needed.
