For the 6.5 masochists, myself included, do any you have any experience with this mold.
Have a chance to pick a used one up in decent shape for my 96. Reportedly drops at .266 from COWW.
Thanks for the input.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
At one time anything LBT was supposed to be magic!!! .266 is a little on the skinny side for my tastes, but if you have a commercial barrel it might be fine.

I had one of those years ago, but mine was cut to drop a .268" CB, which I then sized to .267" for my "as issued" M 96. Accuracy was 2 m.o.a. if I kept the velocity ~1,600 fps. Btw, Lee Precision had custom designed 6.5 moulds, both a single cavity and a 6 cavity version (group buy on the Boolits site) that were more reliably accurate than the LBT design. (The Lee looked like a smaller Lyman #311041.) Lastly, NOE made a similar mould which I ordered as a plain base for my M 96, but it wasn't quite as accurate as the Lee or LBT.
