Lee 356-95rf in a lcp

Anyone use this bullet in a lcp? I kind of want to reload for this gun. I bought this for my better half when it was first made a long time ago. It was her carry gun for years until I got her a sig p365 in 9mm.

I was out shooting today and took this with me. I had a couple of half empty boxes of ammo that had left over when I first got this. It was having issues with some of the flat point rounds. I don't remember having this issue before. I had to take my thumb and push the slide closed a few times. I was thinking it might just be the ammo.

Or would the 102gr mold from Lee work better? Being it is a round nose it should feed better. But I am worried about having to seat it deep because of powder coating.

I love that lil booger in my LCP MAXX!
231 has proven a winner as well. I size mine to .357 in this gun too. VERY respectable velocities acheived as well as good accuracy. One range Has a 6 & 8" plate racks. The 8 is a dueling tree the 6 is a horizontal rack. I can run both but the 6" is harder as my gun shoots lil low and @ 25 yards (distance of both if these racks) I have to hold just above olate. But 8" I can hit pretty quickly. I say that cause as its set, these lil 95g bullets at almost 900 wont topple them. You do need to seat a lil deeper to make them feed but I have had zero issues once I got there. I found .940 to be max and .935 was better. Also in my gun 4g was max I could size that and drop it in a shell checker. 4.1 would not it needed pushed. I load to 3.9 and almost get 950 fps. (My 2.7" gun) The 4.0g is my "woods loading". Will see OCCASIONAL use and reaches 1050 fps! I was shocked but decided not to push this lil gun that hard.

I just picked up a MP 93g bullet mold to try. But haven't received it yet. LMK if you would like any. I have videos up for the LEE bullet.

I also have the Lyman 358242 90g rn bullet. This dosent shoot quite as well but can be loaded longer and probably faster.

Good luck Tommie,

I don't have an LCP but that bullet runs well from my brother's Taurus 738 and my OMC Backup. I PC and load over 3.1-3.3gr. of Winchester 231 to OAL of .930"

I like that little bullet in 380 ACP with 3.9 231 @ .936. Have occasional feed failure in Browning 1911-380. Works in KelTech.

The only thing I have for this is brass. Not a lot but enough. I guess I should stop throwing them into the scrap buckets if I go ahead with this.
