I ordered this one a few minutes ago.
Any thoughts on this one or previous experiences you'd care to share ?

I have a very old Lee single cavity mold in the 140gr. semi wadcutter. With the "V" block locating system (circa 1975) Loaded a bunch of mid range 38 sp. in front of Bullseye and Herco. I was poor and it made me some practice ammo. I don't remember a lot about it except I could sure shoot it up faster than I could make them. Once I got access to department stuff I quit loading 38's.
I always thought the nose on my mold looked too skinny.

When you're accustomed to seeing the Keith style SWC's , it does look skiny.
I think it is basically a wadcutter mould that has the " button " on the end slightly elongated into a cone.

As a matter of fact, I'll probably start out with this one using standard 148 gr. W/C load data in the 38 Special.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
I used to cast this bullet in pure lino back in the olden days. It came out at about 125 gr, and I loaded it really hot in 357 mag cases with 296 powder. It was a lightning bolt, but accuracy was only so-so at those speeds. I kinda thought it looked like a wadcutter with a dunces cap on, but I shot many hundreds of rounds of that bullet.

I like the design and even got a sample of them from Duke in FL on the Boolits site, but they didn't perform nearly as well as the heavier TL design or the RCBS Keith in my S & W Mod 10-5. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed in the results I got.
