I experienced strange ignitions. Sometimes zblown primers other times nothing at all. Say 5 shot group 1 outta every few primers would be excessively flat or blown. I had a few in the blackout when shooting the 160 FTX actually blew the extractor out of my bolt!

I use it for my .450 Bushmaster loads and have had no issues with it, got a buddy that loads his 50 beo also, it seems to be a pretty good powder for the big bore straight wall from what I can tell, probably fired 2-300 rounds and same with the 50, both are AR15 platform. We don't load max loads 99% of the time anyway. We like to start low and go from there, when its shooting as hard as we want to hit we stop there, if it works don't fix it. Never had any signs of pressure spikes or primer issues. I'll be shooting a lot more next summer virus or not, Im sick of all this stupid crap. If i get sick i wont have to worry about getting it again. Got a lot of 223 and 308 castPC to tune in also.

How did you see (determine) pressure spikes?
As you have read in the thread, flatten primers, blown or cratered primers, additionally signs of "flowing" case impressions sticking cases, hard to eject cases, all signs of excessive pressures. However this may not be evident in some calibers extreem pressures can cause weapon failuers before pressure signs become visually evedent. Read up on your chosen firearm before you push the envelope. better yet stay under the max load published and you will be fine.....
