It's a lot worse than BS on FB. I think in some cases it destroys lives, people live for it, it's worse than drugs to some people. How much of a life do you have when the biggest thing to you is the hundreds of FB "friends" you have? Never met a one of them but friends? They aren't friends, they are internet fantasies. How can such people know what a friend really is? Certainly a keyboard is an extremely poor substitute for a true friend. That's what FB is to me, a fantasy life.

The clock on mine is running slow, I think it is about to stop. Having a 21 year old I view that as a good thing.

It isn't hard to find friends online. It also isn't hard to find enemies.....

Good choice in waiting this late in the game to take her to Paris (the wife, that is). DO NOT take your daughter to Paris until she's married, that place does crazy things to American women. Mine went when we were dating, day after she got back I woke up with a ring on my finger, two cars in the drive, and a job in middle management. Would have added the 2.33 kids long ago but her system is still out of whack. Not that that helps the clock any. TICK. TICK. TICK...

Ummmm, the daughter went to Paris before her senior year of HS. So far nothing has happened?
The wife is pretty excited about the trip. Lots of good art for her to see. Problem now is to decide where we go next.

The daughter is interested, the wife not so much. Vic would be able to easily handle a good bear gun. Maybe a nice 444 Marlin? A 300 gr cast flat nose at 1600 would do the trick.
She wouldn't enjoy the fishing too much but then again she has never done that type of fishing.

Have never used a "like" button and too cantankerous to care if anybody likes my posts. If I like a thread or post, I'll participate and usually start my post with a comment about what I liked.
Daughter does FB. Wife and I refuse. I won't allow my teen boys on any social network. They have text, email and the facetime feature on their phones; that's more than enough. All of the social networks are data mines for big brother and God knows who else.
