Always wanted to add a Bisley frame to my BH and SSM. Never did get around to it. They just feel better to my hand.

The grip is the thing that holds me back on one. The way it is is just not for me. I had a import 44mag that I hated. Got rid of it right away.

I hear ya Fiver.... The 45's see to be out being hunted. A LGS (now closed) was a Ruger Dist. Walked in one day and Ken says " Ya better look on the counter". There sat our 1st 45 Bisley. Blue also!! I sold have bought all three.
Ken knew me well though. He was always setting aside a Bisley for us. 41's were always top priority in any make or model.

I had a Hunter model that Ruger sent to me as kind of a warranty thing. I'd bought a brand new .44mag Stainless SBH. When I got it home I took it all apart to inspect everything and properly lube it. I noticed a pin hole of porosity in the top strap of the frame. It was actually bigger than a pinhole. You could not miss it with the cylinder out. I called Ruger and talked to somebody in product service. I asked if there was an acceptible level of porosity in their frames. The rep said that they don't have porosity in their frames. I told her the one in my hand did. She asked me to send it to her, which I did. A few days later I get a call from Ruger and they would like to replace my SBH with a new one, but they would not have one for a few weeks. I asked if they had a Hunter available and she said yes. A few days later, the gun was at my house. The only challenge here was it had a different SN and it was not on my permit. I promptly went down to the county clerk's office and explained what happened and she kind of rolled her eyes and had me fill out a new amendment form. She must've hand carried it to the judge because I had it in in a couple of days. I later sold the gun.

In my county the PP bureau does all the additions/subtractions right there and then.

PP? Probation and Parole?
Pistol Permit bureau/section/whatever of the Country Clerks Office. Not my preferred way of doing things, but I live in a kommunist state. It's home. You can't imagine what they tried doing when the frickin' Plague was running hot.
