Lyman 311284

I found a nice clean Lyman 311284 , 2 cavity mould.
I was skeptical about the " as cast " diameters of the bullets as they drop from the mould with air cooled WW's.
I got lucky on this one.
The bands are .312" and the nose .3015 "

I'll be casting and shooting more with this mould.

My 03A3 really likes that bullet and 16.0-grains of 2400.

Next Ben will be plain basing one cavity, then posting a video of Trevor shooting itty-bitty groups with it.

The 311284 has shot well through every .30-06 I have shot it in and my Krag and Mosin as well.

it was designed for the Krag, so.

I've owned a couple of Krag's.
I've always thought that the Krag case was a " natural " for cast bullets.

I have the NOE version of the 311284. It works well in my 30-06’s. It’s a classic!

No, I bought this one from an individual.

I have a single cav sourced and HP here. Its a good one! It has shot well for me too. My 7.65 Argi likes it with 17g 2400.
