I installed Lyman 17A globe sights on my Pedersoli/Navy Arms Buffalo Rifle Rolling Block and cut-down 1891 Argentine. After experimenting with different inserts, I settled on the post-and-ball, for both rifles. Today, a range regular friend let me check out his Winchester 62 with its Lyman 17A and a Lee Shaver post-and-ball insert. Oh, boy, looks like I'll be buying a set of Mr. Shaver's inserts.
