M die question

To provide some clarity in case someone later reads this thread that doesn't know what we are talking about, here are photos of a Lyman M die and a Lee Universal Expander with a NOE expander plug.

Starting from the far right is a Lyman M die body. To the left of that is the stem with a M die type expander plug.
The next die body is a Lee Universal Expander. On the far-left bottom is NOE expander (also with the M type "step" although it's difficult to see that tiny step). Above the NOE plug is just one of the tapered plugs that comes with the Lee die (it's used as a spacer inside the die body) and on the far-left top is the cap for that Lee Universal die.

This is a close-up of that NOE expander. The "Step" is a little more visible in this image.

And here you can see the NOE expander on top and the Lyman M type expander on the bottom.

I seem to recall that years ago the Palma ammo was loaded on a Dillon--maybe a 550. I thiink it was the year Ruger provided the rifles, '92 maybe. By all accounts the rifles shot "minute of washtub", but the ammo was decent.
