Melting down lot-o-22s

Been picking up damaged 22s in the shooting canyon for years. People make fun of me for doing it. Finally time to scrap them for the lead!

A buddy gave me 200lbs of 22lr lead from an indoor range some years back. Was pretty dirty stuff but cleaned up nice. Good score!

I managed to get 9 ingots out of all that!

if you can pull the copper into the alloy then you get a real good ww mixer alloy.

...that reminds me, I have several boxes of shotgun ammo to disassemble.
people just seem to give me a box here and there to dispose of (usually they are corroded) ...also, one year, I was given a misc bag of vintage shells at a gunshow, when a table-mate couldn't sell 'em for 25¢ each.

A drawn cartridge case made from Aluminum, berdan primed for the US Military stamped 86 / CCI

Was for 5.56 never made it as I understand I got a few cases from engineer at the time at RCBS.
