Amazing how they survive the prior years hunting season. Managed to get pictures of three out of five.

I don't feel bad for Alvin at all. We watched a hawk eat a small bird last winter.

There back.

Don't know how they continually survive the five months of Arkansas Deer Season. They have managed this for the third year in a row. The four fellas visited late, yesterday, afternoon. About a hour before sundown. Antler's are already starting to show. Cindy managed to get these photos.

I counted 7 doe in my back yard the other day. I've been seeing them all winter. They are fun to watch, especially so for my wife.

Exactly a week, before, and within 5 minutes....5:10 PM versus 5:15 PM (what I thought were 4 does) passed through the back but didn't stop long enough for photo's. Yesterday, they were lolly gagging.

That is a beautiful view !
Our sunrises are very blah. But the sunsets have those fire storm colors from volcanic ash in the air.

At 6 PM, last evening, Cindy and I watched a procession of deer come out of the woods. Counted eleven, single file, assumed they were does.....until the last one came into view. Nice 7 point, more amazingly, still had his head gear. Upon closer examination, all were bucks.....only one had horns. Rest, had antler "bumps".
