Reminds me of the Lee 158 RF, which, even with the slightly annoying BB, has been an outstanding
bullet in my experience. That should be a real winner, Ben. May not be as good as the 358429 out
at 300 meters or so, but I don't think you do a lot of that sort of long range work with the .38 Spl,
if anything.
Reading Elmer's Sixguns, he had some RN designs (not like the LBT style noses) that shot well
for him, but he noticed loss of accuracy at longer ranges, and more rapid drop than he wanted,
so designed the 358429 or 429421 type Keith' nose which has proven to work very well at long ranges.
But how many of us even have a place where we can bang away at rocks at 300 to 500 yds
these days? I know I do not.
