My 357466 HP mold

Couple weeks back we had a thread about a few classic 357 Mag molds. I commented that I had a 358429 (also from Brad) but wanted a shorter nose (for friendly use in my Marlin lever) and prefer a plain base.
Brad said he could make that but I needed a mold... I found that I had a mold!! 357466.
Ben started a thread but for what ever reason... I cannot find it so I started a new thread.
He has done a awesome job and the mold casts beautifully.

I also posted a video to my Utube account.
Thanks again Brad I love it!

Wow! Why did you have to ream he hole? Couldn't you have just drilled it out? Did you start with a small drill and follow up with a larger sized drill bit?

I particularly like the reuse of a bobbin of some sort as the handle for the pin. See, we do recycle and save in our hobby!

A drill removes material but does not make a round hole. I drill a size or 2 smaller than reamer size then ream. The reamer makes the hole round.

Want a hole? Use a drill
Want a round hole? Ream it
Want a straight hole? Bore it
