My LAM II helpers

Like to putter around and these are some of the things I've added to my RCBS LAM II and they do seem to help. First thing was to get away from those sliding balls on the pressure screw. Picked that tip up on that place with the strange spelling.

Use a ¼” drive ½” 6 point socket with a slot cut in it to allow a bolt to go through
the top of the luber screw and you can eliminate that annoying double ended ball to
apply pressure. The ¼” drive socket wrench works much nicer. I cut the slot with
a metal angle grinder. And you’re not messing with the factory setup. Think I paid
$1.59 for the socket!

Adding a ball handle made things more comfortable and have also installed them on my presses. A little riser to hold the bullets handy and another to drop the finished ones in keeps things close together. And cobbled a counter on there for my own pleasure. Not pretty but it works. All mounted on a board that is drilled to attach to the plate on the bench which is drilled and tapped for various presses, etc. The old Midway heater is on back of the board and connected to a TC for PID control. 500-700/hour are not a problem. Also made a wrench for the lube nut out of scrap aluminum so it'd be there when needed.
