my next shotgun

I was on an un-named site and saw the brand name of a line of OU I had never heard of. So I checked them out. I know pictures most times are better than the actual gun. But they are beautiful. The brand is Yildiz. Made in Turkey.
And I could even afford to own one. Without trying to justify it.

there are a LOT of guns made in Turkey now.
weatherby was having some [semi-auto and O/U] shotguns made and imported from there until recently.
SKB took over the semi-auto gun line and re-named it.
mossburg still is [over/under]
CZ's O/U's are made there.
Tri-Star is probably the most popular one right now, so popular it has become the Glock in the Glock/1911 debate of the shotgun world.

I have a Cabela's house brand SBS that was made in Turkey, VERY nice fit/finish, runs with some of the best I've seen, yet dirt cheap by comparison.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Oldest son had a Charles Daly 20 ga pump made in Turkey. I was skeptical, but it never gave any problems at all. He regrets selling it.
