I don't know what the threads are but I know RCBS sells a short handle for their big patriot press.
you might get someone that has swapped out their handle for the short one to sell/give you theirs, or maybe the short one would work?

HEY anyone know where to get a handle for a Lyman junior or T Press?Snapped mine off at the end of the threads. Didn't see that comming!
Got a photo?

A straight rod handle is simple to make, just need to know length, thread size, and how long the threaded portion needs to be.

You mean like a Tru-line Jr? I had one with no handle. I took the press into a decent hardware store, found a l-o-n-g carriage bolt with the correct threads, and turned a new ball to replace the bolt head.

Pretty much any machine shop if you don't have the tools can make you a handle for that press with no problem. They have thread gauges to measure and match the threads.

Folks would need to know the handle diameter and thread pitch to answer that question. Quite a few presses use 1/2 X 20 (National Fine) threads and the handles of some will interchange.

I have made two press handles, both for old Pacific C presses. The pre-war press took a two diameter press fit (unthreaded) handle, I made from tool steel stock. The post-war Pacific Super C took 1/2 X 20 handle which I made from a length from a shot out WWI Model 1917 barrel. Kind of cool to look through the handle and see rifling. I made these handles a bit longer than the factory handles for a smidge more leverage. A decent lathe is the ultimate reloading shop tool. At any rate, these gizmos are a fairly easy shop project.

Dan needs to extract the threaded bit that broke off first. Sometimes the stub will jam up in the hole because the top thread deforms at the break.

One my buys included an old Orange Crusher Identical to OP,s less the neat paint job. I wan on the way to eBay with the press. I noticed the window was much larger than my old RC. Not better but bigger, The press is to stay. I load some long BP rounds. The old OC should do just fine.

Do you know a machinist? Probably the easiest way. Or maybe eBay. You can most anything there.
