Hi Guys,
Sorry to post personal issues but I'm feeling down becaue my oldest brother (85 years old) had to go in for heart procedures today. By 9:30 am he was out of the operation and doing very well in recovery. By 5 pm he was moved to ICU because he had a stroke...we are still waiting to hear on this. He and I are the only ones left of my parents 9 children! He being the oldest and I being the youngest.
Just contemplating this...thought I would share. He was one of my two brothers that thought me how to hunt!

After the last year I can understand.
Hang in there best as you can Jim. Dawn and I have learned to call it “The Roller Coaster from Hell”. Lots of ups and down and you can’t get off.

I remember the photos. As an only child it is tough to imagine your situation. Hoping for the best. Do keep us updated.

I have one brother left also. The eldest died seven years ago. I am the youngest.

I have to admit, it does get lonely.

You, your brother and family are all in my prayers.

JW,
I wish your brother and you all the best.

I have a 22-month-younger sister, and have always wondered what it would have like to have had a brother.

Only a sister for me, and not close. OTH, 5 boys, 3 are stepsons and 2 of ours. BUT, they are THICK AS THIEVES! If any one of them is struggling in any way, they all suffer. You and your bother are in my prayers! Hope he comes through with flying colors!

Thank You again Guys!
We got word this morning that it appears the effects of his stroke have now minimized to his left arm. His speach return this morning and outside of not sleeping all night he is up and alert but very weak. Of course no one can go to see him because of the virus precautions ...not even his wife. He ran his phone down today..... calling her every 5 minutes!
So I have to say that is a great sign.....Prayers have been answered I'm certain! And yes it was a small clot from the operation. He had another CAT scan today and they said everything was clear.
I know he is a fighter! Anything to make his quality of life better he ops for no matter how old he is!
Thanks again for all your support.....I will keep you all posted
Jim

Prayers and best wishes sent for him, and your family. This damned lockdown is difficult in so many ways.

Glad to here he's better.
He'll be up and kicking your butt, like a big brother always does, in no time.
