Need mounting block height for Lyman STS on a .38-55 Browning Traditional Hunter

I don't have the rifle yet and am attempting to get the blocks in advance. Rifle may be here by Friday.

I want to put my Lyman STS on the 1885 Traditional Hunter. I have a friend that just did this, but he use blocks such that the scope is tipped forward a bit to give him as much elevation adjustment as possible I'm thinking I prefer mounting the scope level so the blocks are parallel.

Does anyone here know what the front and rear block heights need to be to make a level mounting base? Objective on an STS is 1.75".

I do have an email into Steve Earle as I'll be buying his blocks. But he's recently moved and I suspect he's not looking at email every day as he gets reorganized at his new home/shop.

Thanks.

I got no idea but depending on the trajectory of the round, and the distance you plan on shooting, going with your Buddy's setup might be the way to go.
