Joined a couple months ago. From southwest Louisiana. Grew up on a rice farm as a kid. Started handloading at 18 to feed my first handgun. 'Twas a 4" royal blue Colt Python. Not bad for a first! Started casting about 10 years later. Shot skeet competively for a few years. Got back into shooting my handguns more. Love single actions and 1911's. Combat Gov't Model was my second handgun. Work for an oil company on a production platform in the Gulf of Mexico. 7 days at work and 7 days off. Turn 53 in February and am married to a very lovely and understanding wife who knows my sickness for all things guns. She knows what's in a box labeled from NOE lol! 2 grown son's with one who has 2 little girls. He is military and the youngest is a welder by trade.

My first handgun was a 6" Royal Blue Python which paved the way to my casting endeavors, over 40 years ago. Surprised that you prefer single actions.....especially after being spoiled with one of the finest double actions ever made. Me, I'm quite the opposite, I own exactly two single action revolvers.... a ROA and a 45LC BH.

Welcome to the madness.

Not that I don't have feelings for my double actions you see. I also added a 6" custom shop Python and a 6" stainless steel Python so the others wouldn't be lonely! Own some Smiths and Ruger double actions.
