New hand priming tool

That looks like the hot ticket. The next time my Lee hand primer goes belly up I will probably get one of those. Thanks for posting. After you use it post your impressions.

I watched the videos JRB did on that priming tool and I was impressed.

Looks to be very strongly built, and gives you lots of adjustment on primer seating depth.

Can I get some close ups of the primer tray. How is the lid held on?

So I just got done fully prepping 40 some pieces of LC .308 brass. Decapped, swaged out primer pockets, squared up primer pockets, debured flash holes, annealed, FL sized, trimmed, debured, chamfered, and turned necks.
I figured out how to put the proper parts in the new FA priming tool and primed all the cases. Man. This thing is sweet! Way easier on the hands as opposed to my hand held Lee primer. This thing is heavy duty, smooth, and adjustable for seating depth in .001" increments.
For $45 it will cover 652 calibers. I'm sold. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new hand held priming tool. FA hit this one out of the park in my book!

So little plastic fingers on the corners? Like the ones on mine that broke?
I may look at a priming tool like that but will see if they sell extra covers.

I wonder if that is a modified Lee made by Lee for Midway.

That looks like a neat tool. I really like the adjustable feature.

I'm perfectly happy with all 3 of our hornady priming methods but....
To play with repriming berdan cases the adjustment feature would be great. To do it with my hornady hand primer tool I had to make a little washer to adjust the seating depth. Without it 2-3 of 100 would pop. Turning a dial would be much easier than hand filing a washer for proper fit. Think I may grab one.

wow! like the much older RCBS unit I have/used for 30 years. I love it. Finally bought a second one in case primary goes belly up. If the both give up the ghost, this looks like the replacement. Thanx

I wish they hadn’t used the Lee method of holding the tray cover on. Those little plastic fingers snap off too easily for my liking.

Okay. So I’ve used this a bit now and it’s the best hand primer I have ever used. Hands down.

I like it. Not a fan of plastic tools. They work thought and gives me time to save my lunch money for that.

I am one not a fan with the plastic fingers on the lid. Might be the broken one on my current Lee tool?
I need to see If Midway sells replacement lids.

It does look like a well made tool.

RCBS will happily send you multiple replacement parts for free. Just ask, and they'll send 3 each of whatever you ask for.

Hah! Nope. Not for mine! It is at least 2 iterations and 30 years old. I called them. They said they no longer had parts, even in the parts bin!
