New mirrors for bore scope

I broke the mirror that came with my bore scope. And can't remember where I put the extras so I would not forget where I put them. Well that worked out great!

I went on amazon and seen they offered different size of mirrors for different sizes of bores. So I ordered the 5 piece kit. I have not tried them yet but hopefully this will help to focus the image better than before.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. I've been looking for stuff I "put away so I wouldn't lose it" for over 20 years! There is a still a flat belt for a Ford buzz saw safely stored away where it wouldn't get lost or wet or anything here...somewhere! My felling lever is equally misplaced and there are books I KNOW I put back on the shelf that have apparently grown legs and walked away!

I am STILL looking for my copy of "Pet Loads". I checked two places that I just knew I put it. I swear this place is infested with gremlins that hide stuff as soon as I need to look for it.

That's a good mirror set, Tomme. I got the 4-mirror version with my rigid, stand-along Teslong scope because it specifically noted that it only came with ONE mirror and it did. The supplemental set is fantastic for bigger bores and keeps the mirror centered for a clear image. You can play with the focus even more by threading it on the rod more or less and locking with the threaded jam ring.

I've heard those belts often get hung up behind the door of the woodshed, so they're hidden when you open the door. Not that I have personal experience (or extra belts), you understand. Just something I heard.
