The other day, I picked up a package form NOE- the results of the 10th anniversary discount
225-57-FN, and 225-61-FN, both 3 cavity molds. This is for the .223 rem barrel of a switch barrel boltgun.
And the 266-126 (2 cavity, PB/GC), and the 268-140, also 2- cavity. These are for my 6,5x55 barrels. It will be my first PB-bullet for the 6,5.
Wiped the molds with acetone (probably unnecessary, they were quite clean), tokk them through a couple of heat cycles in my toaster oven, and started casting. They all behaved very well, and started producing nice bullets very quickly.
The .22 cal 3-cavity molds seem to be cut from the same blocks as .30- cal 2-cavity molds. Keeping them hot was no problem. They seem to be a good compromise between «wrist-friendliness» and productivity.
