New MP mold on the way

Ahhh, "leftovers bin" powder, probably some of the best. I have a buddy who did a bunch of odds and ends in his shop with crap off off the powder room floor, looked like granite, very nice, never will be able to duplicate the batch.

Did you try putting any gas checks on the Hunter before coating?
John my friend that sent me the powder coat got around 30 lbs. of the stuff, I talked with him the other day, and he's sending me another lb. and that should last me quite awhile. In hindsight, I probably should have checked the fit on a non-coated bullet before I coated them all LOL, but I was excited, and my usual inquisitive nature failed me, but I have a NOE gas check expander so not all was lost but a little extra time. I want make that mistake with that bullet again.

By the way, I have another one on the way today, but it is a 9 mm handgun HP mold with a plain base, so no gas check issues with that one.

I have the solid version of the Hunter. No issues with gas check fit with Sage's, Hornady's or Gator's. I don't own a GC expander..............never found the need. I don't PC.
