New pistol and now I need brass...

Broke down and bought a Rock Island Armory 1911 in 10mm today... My son really wanted one and I didn’t but he’s home for 2 months before he‘s off to college for 4.5 years so I went ahead and got us a new toy to play with. Cast 3 pots of 40 cal bullets today and just ordered the Dillon dies for my 550 machine. Now I need some brass to add to the 2 boxes of factory rounds I purchased. Anybody have any special brass stores that always come through for them?

Check with Natchez too, and maybe Monmouth Brass or 3rd Generation Shooting Supply has some. A lot of the common caliber components are scarce right now and good deals virtually nonexistent but a less popular (but not obsolete) caliber may be plentiful

Congrats on your new toy, I've never owned a RIA 1911 but have fired many of them in .45 ACP and found them all properly loose, comfortable, quite accurate, and extremely reliable. I think they're actually made to exacting WWI Colt blueprint tolerances.

I agree with rad about Starline. Best brass around, reasonable prices and free shipping.

They also make brass that no one else does. I shoot 44 Colt, they have it. Same with 45 Cowboy Special and a bunch of others.
