Taking a buddy out shooting tomorrow. He is no stranger to firearms but is new to long range shooting. He just bought a Tikka .308 and a Vortex tactical Diamondback scope with a Harris bipod. We will set up at 300 yards and be shooting prone from the bed of a pickup. I found some 6 3/4” AR-500 steel plates at work and torched a couple holes in them. These should prove to make good targets at that distance for a novice rifle shooter. These will also be great 25 yard pistol and revolver targets. I love shooting steel!
