An old Pro from days gone by, Lonnie Warrick, number 59 of the Minnesota Vikings. Lonnie lives near me & my wife worked with his wife April in the operating room for several years. He played 10 years in the NFL mostly as middle linebacker. He was one of those guys who could put you on the seat of your pants with either hand. Great fellow.

Yes, I worked with Archie Sutton, Tulane 1964, and Vikings for two years as a tackle before blew knee out. Really big man who was thankful that pro-sports got him enough money to go to grad school in Montana and have a successful career as a Human Relations Director.

My HS PE teacher was Richard Huckee . He made it all the way to 1st alternate , I want to say Safety , played about half of the last quarter of his first preseason game for the Saints . Last practice of the preseason he zigged his right foot zagged . I guess the rolled ankle would have been ok but he went down in front of one of those 1975/6 450# linemen and got stepped on and before he could the backer tripped and fell on him . That's how a promising rookie guard/safety gets cashed out for a half season a knee and ankle overhaul and a 1 way ticket home to be a HS football coach and PE teacher .

The closest thing I had to an older brother worked for Sparkletts to pay his way through college delivered water to Rosie Greer , drove a 57 T bird and dated Miss California 72' or 74' I can't remember now . She taught me to thumb punch milk goats , I was like 4-4-1/2 . I looked it up once , I think she was actually a runner up .

I've spent my whole life like Monte Python's Brian of Nazerath about 15 minutes late for anything resembling fame .
