Loving my new GRAND 10mm ! Great trigger and very accurate.

See NOE is having a sale thru the 22nd.

Looking for suggestion on what mold I should buy.

Thanks !

Good afternoon
I view the 10mm like a 357 mag. If I want to hunt and pop something serious I use a heavy slug. If I want to plink or shoot paper just for fun a 38 Special or 40 SW will do just fine.
44 mag and the 44 Special the same. So also the 41 mag and 41 special. Heavy slugs for serious business.

This 10mm ( I have shot several) is no more dramatic than my 9mm STAR. As is claimed, the rotating bbl and s-l-o-w action does reduce perceived recoil a lot. They make it in 9mm --- that must be a real pussycat.

IMO you must shoot a lot with the gun you intend to use with the loads you intend to use. Shooting a full house 357 Magnum, when the chips are down, when all you have practiced with are 38 wadcutters will probably produce a bad outcome.

Can't really tell a difference between the PX4 and XDm, same 40SW load. 165gr TC shoots great. If it goes through 3' of pig @ 25 yds it's enough.

I went a different route and load MP 165 grain hollow points and 190 grain Cup points, depending upon whether I'm practicing or serious about it.

The 200 grain bullet has been a long-time favorite of mine in 10mm, with the caveat that all of my past 10mms have been robust-design pistols--S&W 3rd Generation examples. Now with the Glock 20 and 29 in the safe, I have made haste slowly regarding extracting full performance for the pistols as hunting arms. Jacking up the process considerably is the fact that all hunting bullets in Kalifornistan must be of non-lead composition throughout the state as of 07-01-19. Target shooting and hunting were never discrete venues for me in the past--most of my reloading was focused on hunting applications, as was my target practice. There was a "cut-out" to some extent for duplicating carry ammo for defensive practice--cast bullets were enlisted in place of the j-words and worked wonderfully and economically in that role. Nicely enough, my 223/5.56 x 45 service load duplicator did PHENOMENAL work as an uber-accurate varmint load in my rat strafers (Nosler 55 grain BalTips). All for nought in CA in 3-1/2 months.

Yes, I would like some cheese with this whine. Some fresh French bread would be good, too. :)

I have the 200 grain flat point and the 160 hollow point RG mold. Depends on what you want to shoot. I tend to load 200s more in 10mm and the 160s in 40 S&W. Both are good bullets, although the round nosed 160 needs to be seated much deeper than you would think. It’s a fairly short round nose.

I like the NOE 200 gr. WFN for my 10mm's. I got a 5 cavity so I can crank them out and they shoot well in all my 10mm's including my S&W 610.87648765

That 200 is the best shooting bullet in my 610's as well. Also, it feeds in the MegaStar very well.
